Ran out of detailing tape.... what shall i do?

An Audi s4 avant followed me through the Dartford tunnel the other night and I wondered what weird coloured wrap it had on it,  then it past me and the whole front end and front of the roof had green detailing/masking tape on. I can understand doing shut lines etc when doing 1/4 miles but this was like the mk5 at the top, stupid if you ask me
