Uprated Clutch for stage 3??
(1/1)
GTIite:
Hi all, looking for some advice on which clutch I would need to run to handle Stage 3. Trying to avoid having a paddle clutch as I didn't want to end up with a heavy clutch.
I have been looking at the Sachs clutches but priced at £1000 its not exactly cheap!
What is everyone else running and are there any other options out there for me?
Any help would be much appreciated! :happy2:

Speak to rtech about a helix clutch
GrayMK5GTI:
You can buy a Helix for aroun £450 from Awesome GTI, then get it fitted at a reputable place near you. All in around £700.
The Southbend Clutches that Darkside Developments sell for the 2.0TDI also fits the TFSI and can handle the torque no problem :happy2:

Thanks, I sent Awesome GTI a message but they said a clutch kit would be £949. The kit consists of a solid flywheel, uprated organic friction plate, uprated cover assembly and a new release bearing.
And he said it was rated to cover around 400lb/ft of torque so would be fine with a Revo Stage 3 build.
Guess its just the decision of Helix or Sachs!
Ill check out that other place.
