You think it could be plugs/coilpack related - they are stock coils and some slightly better plugs, cant remember which at the mo.

Always with these codes :

008196 - Intake Manifold Flap; Bank 1
               P2004 - 001 - Stuck Open - Intermittent

08212 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)
               P2014 - 001 - Electrical Malfunction - Intermittent

sometimes this too...

00262 - Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96)
               P0106 - 004 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent - MIL O

Neil try doing the output test for the manifold motor.
open vcds>engine>output test 03

then select Intake manifold flap from the drop down list

While the test is running the actuator arm should move to fully open and close the flaps

Additionally if you took your car to Stattlers then could it be Nology silver plugs you have in?

Nology that's the fella's

Don't have the car at the moment but I did try a RF adaption which just errors when at fault.

The dealer had found that when run the flap is being opening incorrectly due to the ECU error being logged but the flap is working correctly.

Swap back to some stock plugs and see if the fault still appears.
