Love the look of those seats!

Well...... I was let down big time from my supplier for the plaid and had to ask very nicely for my money back, which I got in the end
Spent over a week searching the internet for some more and after all sorts of different spellings in the searches I found some in Mexico. Paid the guy what we agreed and waited with fingers crossed.
A package arrived today and it was what he advertised - I was half expecting a roll of hello kitty print fabric but this is what I got
I'm no expert with interior fabrics but it appears to be real deal ex factory stock and matches perfectly with my ED30 interior and has foam backing with factory numbers printed on the back. Whatever it is, its an exact match - :pomppomp:
All I need to do now is get it booked in with the trimmer I have chosen and make the journey to Scotland to drop the seats off so watch this space for pics of the finished seats
Dave J:
That's great news - glad you found what seems to be the holy grail of seat fabric!
Bet you can't wait to have the seats trimmed now!

I would never had thought getting the fabric would have been so much of a pain in the bum as it has been. I found the wingbacks more easily!!!!!
I'm hoping they will be done before Christmas so fingers crossed  Iv decided to do red stitching in the door cards and armrest too. Just hope it won't look overkill!!!!!!
Dave J:
Your plans sound spot on, to be honest. I don't think most people would know that you have changed the stitching in the armrest/door panels from grey to red, if you didn't tell them.
Should add a nice bit of colour to the door cards - red stitching on the ED30 would have been a great way to set the car apart to the door trim in GTI leather/R32 interiors. Comes down to cost at the factory, I guess...
