Hi Craig

Welcome

Looks nice.

Take it you went away from the scene life and went for some performance? From the title. only ask as I am planning on doing the same  :signLOL:

My golf on s-lines

Then grey rotiform blq's

Then a set of 3 piece rotiform blq's

This is where being scene ended and I decided to strip the car and go for a performanced based car, it started subtle but as in the title it's on the verge of being mean so keep looking

I decided to k04 it so I began to get all the hardware

Now for the transmission

Now for the braking some Vw racing 6 pots

The engine bay

Now I needed some coil overs with camber adjustment etc and I'd heard good things about these for the money so I got these

Then after getting a very capable k04'ed car I had an engine problem. Resulting it is neededinh to be rebuilt so this it where I decided to take it up a level.

I brought a bigger td06 turbo with rs4 injectors

Then I decided that the only way to benefit from a bigger turbo was to build a forged engine

Carrillo pistons

Zrp conrods

Super tech titanium valve terrain

Now with a forged motor in the pipe line with an excess of 500bhp I then decided 2wd isn't good enough so I began to get the 4wd running gear.

So with my car with no engine I decided to do some mods on the chassis

Customs front strut mounts

Now for the read end to accommodate the rear diff but first I needed to remove a few obstructions

And I'm left with this

Finally I can start to alter the rear

Solid plate welded in with strengthening box section underneath

Now to chop out for the secondary in tank fuel pump

Now all the fabrication and altering is done I can now start to build it back, new Quattro fuel tank with s3 in tank pumps

Before I could install the tank I needed to alter the o/s/f rear brake line as its routed different via the rear axle

Quattro tank in

Rear diff ready to go in.

Rear diff in

No I needed to build the axle by installing my brakes and shocks

I've thinned the pics down so you get the general idea but my aim is to make a 4wd 500bhp gti and hopefully I'll have the car fully built and starting the running in process within the next 6 weeks but ill keep this updated. Thanks for reading
