Thanks for the positive comments. The power big is so more addictive than the scene look. I loved it when I k04'ed it so hopefully this will be amazing

which ECU will you be using?

I wanted to track it but I think this year I'll just use it as a fast road car and hopefully next winter I'll be in a better position to stop it, cage it etc. I'll be using the standard Ecu too.

bet it'll be an interesting drive, SWB 4WD. Is it permanent 4WD and whats the power split?

wouldnt a full blown ECU open the car up so much as for its full potential power wise? I dont know much about the vag ECU's, is there a great deal of scope to tweak this, that and the other to get the best out of the engine?

If I get it wired as an oe car would be it's not permanent 4wd and it activates once traction is lost up front and I think it's something like 60/40 or 70/30 to the front. I can use an insert that manually make it a permanent 50/50 but I'd like to do it oe.

As for the Ecu I think there very tunable but don't hold me to that but a lot of people stick with stock ones. I'll run a separate fuel Ecu when I fit an uprated inlet manifold

Pikey Motorsports:
you planning on running 8 injectors

.
Very nice indeed  :happy2:

With the performance mods you have done, may I suggest a diff (or did I miss that in this thread as already done?) and for handling I would consider these braces rather than bars unless you intend to fit a roll cage.
