lincolnshirepoacher:
Just done mine thanks for the right up very helpful.......was quite surprised to find that ear was quite clean but was still throwing up emissions guy coming round to do map tomorrow!! so all deleted
ChrisGT:
Did this on mine a couple of weeks ago.
Here was the EGR valve on my 2007 63k BMN engine.
And then after a good clean:
Here's some of the crap that came out of it:
Definitely running a lot smoother and idle is much better (was quite lumpy ever since getting the car a few months ago)

Hi Has anyone had their emissions light come back on?? Mine flashed up again yesterday so called the guy who mapped it, when he did map it he said to keep the ash plug disconnected???? Didn't sound right to me any help greatly received
On another note does my 54 plate have a dpf filter??? As been seeing mixed threads.
jason_rmh:
It's not been mapped out properly I suspect.
What engine is your car? BKD (140) or BMN (170)?
I don't think BKD engines came with DPF.
Glad the guide helped.
