Traction Control Light Flashes - When turning off

I've heard that if you hold down the ESP button for more than 10 seconds it then de-activates all the TC and ABS etc features.

Is this true?

Not on the later models like the MY09 / later Mk5's and Mk6's.

it does on the early ones like ours robin, alot more fun!!  :happy2:

....Are you planning to switch off the ESP on The Ring? :driver:

Hmmm interesting. I knew turning off the TC wouldn't turn off all features, so figured the flashing was indicating wheel spin/loss of traction. Didn't know about the 2 or 10 second press. Has anyone tried it?
