Sorry to drag up an old thread, but is this common using this update guide? I have a Touran RNS310 I want to update but I don't want to end up with the Seat boot logo.

This update procedure by this OP is listed in quite a few forums and just want to be sure.

I have a feeling the image that I used was a Seat image!!

I wish I knew how to change it back to VW.

Yes I think the file is a SEAT update file and although will work will leave you with the SEAT boot screen. This same how to is posted in a few forums but the top Google search result is for this guide posted on SEAT Cupra.net.

I am hesitant to use this update on my VW because it looks like it is a SEAT file if you have this problem.

Unless anyone can tell me any different.
