Laser Blue GTI
GTiBlues:
Well we did it up on ramps, undo both sides the anti roll bar to give more drop. I had a bar in the wishbone to push down as my mate pulled the hub back.
Only mega problem was the top mount bush bolts was rounded off.
Anyway its all done with new parts, will look at replacing drop links etc in the future
Harz:
I used an electric impact wrench/gun to get top nut off. Came off easy. Had car jacked up on both sides with anti roll bar loose on both sides, but passenger side was a pain everything was stiffer on passenger side and all the nuts and bolts were harder to remove. Like you said its done now. Hopefully wont have to go through it again anytime soon.
Another Fluffer:
Wow, interior looks so clean after you were finished!
Timepillow:
Your car looks amazing mate! so shinny! :ashamed:
Some great mods you've done too! Keep it up! :happy2:
GTiBlues:
I haven't had chance to clean it properly yet, only had washes. Got all my new cleaning products waiting to go! Just the weather been wet and too cold.
As for mods, do it right first time and save the hassle that comes with eBay rubbish!
Interior needs another steam clean, will do that when the weather warmer, car will dry quicker then.
