It's selfish of you to run HIDs in the INCORRECT headlights. It gives everyone a bad name.
There are plenty of "quality" bulbs, Phillips Ultras, Osram nightbreaker +, all give a wonderful crisp light.
And to be honest, IMO, HIDs in incorrect headlights look tacky. It's not about how bright the light is, it's about how it can be directed and you simply can't direct the intense light properly with a stock reflector unit...

In a Mk4, exact same problem..

There is a corsa that drives near me, passes me almost every night towards work. It looks like he drives round on high beam. So every time I see him I flash him a lot. He will never change.


People won't change their minds about HID's because from the drivers seat they look fine. When they get blinded they think "HID's fitted incorrectly" when in fact all HID's are like that.

took them out as the light beam pattern shone every  where  but they did light the road up well :signLOL:Main reason was I pulled up by the police and he told me to take them out :signLOL:

Hey, I'd go with 4500k, looks a lot more oem then the blue tint from the 6000k and gives a nicer cut off IMO

k is just the kelvin rating of the bulb.
It does not effect cut off.

Now I'm regretting buying them after hearing all this feedback :/

I will test fit them asap as they arrived today, I'll take some photos before and after and of the cut off and on coming POV.

You've made a big mistake ever buying these.  I had H7r bulbs for around 3 days and they were just as bad as normal h7s. 



That's a comparison of one with a Osram Nightbreaker.  Absolutely terrible and scatted light everywhere.  I felt like a complete bellend for driving my car with them even if it was just a few days.

Maybe, but if theyre blinding to others then ofc i will have to take them out,  ill leave one in and do an oncoming approach in a mates car and see :/

Make sure you do it coming round a bend as well. As that is one of them most likely times you will blind someone when both cars are at an angle and not completely facing each other.

I can pretty much assure you that HID's in reflectors without self levelling will be a nuicanse to oncoming traffic - when going uphill and downhill, around corners, when in front of cars, when behind cars - they look crap too, sorry to say.
