Lol I used to read all RNS threads until about August. Then the site went down and I haven't bothered to check since.
Soo....gonna cost around £250 for parts and requires some hacking away at the boot and some dodgy wiring! :scared:

No problem.
He could of quite easily kept it quiet. Just like a Spainish (ceramicax) & Russian (TallioN) member have on VWNavi.
Approx cost is £250 plus a few repair wires. The following parts are needed...
* 5K0827469R New rear badge with internal camera £214.43
* 5M1970161AC Cable between badge and RNS510 £36.44
* 3B0972722 4 pin connector for camera £2.85
* 4B0973712 4 pin controller for badge £2.63
* 1J0973802 2 pin connector to original wiring harness £1.43
* 000979131 Repair wire (3 required) £2.18
* 000979020 Repair wire (1 required)

What would dealers charge for this if they could do it?
I don't mind wiring but I'm so cack-handed at the mechanical stuff that I'd probably bugger up the chopping off of the boot.
