Liquid Clay Bar, lazy waste of time or viable product? (Video)

(1/1)

VC:
I know you pro detailers will slap a big FAIL on most of the methods/products in this video  but i'm interested in the bit at about 6:10 into the clip

thoughts?

JPC:
looks like hes being very rough and ready with the paint. I know that this detail doesnt really seems to be achieving any correction, but i cant see how it wont mark the paint.

Put it this way, if he did that on a car i had prepared, youd most certainly notice some marks on the paint.

Mind you, the same goes for claying, most people will mark the paint

Hi peeps.
I wouldn't use it personally, it seems far to vigourous to work without causing serious marring or swirls. I bet the lube is full of oils/fillers making it look great at first....masking the damage its caused. I'll stick to my mild clay, by hand and slowly and carefully.

After all, whats the rush?

Oh and after some research I've discovered that its made by Turtle Wax.
