Only thing I would suggest is if you're getting a cat-back system, go BCS as the Milltek one is very quiet (even the "louder" version) and also the back box "suitcase" sits well below the bumper and in plain sight of day. Given the money I'd go full BCS but sadly I just don't have the ability to stretch that far, what with wanting Audi TTRS front brakes, H&R anti roll bars and some new bumpers plus a re-spray this year (check post #2 for my 2015 plans!).

Great thanks for your help.
I already have a BCS GTI exhaust, however it's simply on it to change to the R32 style and have already queried this with Nigel. Love how well designed the BCS is, Milltek made a mistake in my eyes in terms of design of their MK5 R32 system. As you say it hanging down in being in clear view ruins it for me!

Yo man, love the work you've done on this!! :notworthy: Similar setup to mine :drinking: Seeing those R32 seats in yours has got me searching and added more to my to-do list!!
Just out of curiosity, are you planning on tracking it at all?

Thanks man, always happy with kind words. There are a set of R32 seats going on this forum as it stands, but personally I wish I'd gone for Cobras given how much I paid for these seats! But still, once I sort the OEM wiring out it'll be a different story. Track plans..? Well, it'd be rude not to add all these shiny bits and not test how good they really are...

I did see those seats, unfortunately mine is a 5 door and I believe the ones for sale are 3 door or looking for a 3 door trade something like that. Cobras do look swish but you can't beat the look of OEMish!! What wiring have you got to get done?
Excellent, glad to hear it on the track front!!!

The air bag sensor, because my stock GTI seats had air bags but these R32 ones don't I need to blank off the plug in my car's floor to fool the air bag module into thinking there's a complete circuit. I also need to extend the seat occupancy sensor wiring so it reaches my car's original loom. Then need to fault scan/clear to remove any error messages.
