Jonathon555:
Just looking to start detailing , i am about to order a Das 6 pro and some pads etc need to renovate my type r

Das 6 pro polisher
Chemical guys 5.5 " orange and green pads
Sonax perfect finish compound
Sonax xtreme brilliant wax

This is to get started

Would this be ok to start with for a machine polishing kit

Or can somebody suggest better for the price ?

Thanks

Orange and green pads would be too aggressive for Jap paint I believe.
I'd get a white and green.
As I say time and time again different people get different polishes you really need to try them out for yourself and see if you like the feel of them. I use Menzerna personally but other people prefer 3m or Sonax or CG polishes!

Whats a good sealer ?

xjay1337:
Sealer?? I presume you mean sealant??

Menz Powerlock is good. So is collinite 476s.. cquartz if you can apply it in a garage and know what you're doing... loads of things really.. use what you like and use it often. there's no magical product out there!  :star:
