Bilstein B4 shocks for Edition 30

Alright people, hows it going?

My 2 rear FK shockers are knocking on my Edition 30 and I'm looking at replacing the full set of shockers. I have VWR -25mm springs fitted at the moment and I'm after a decent firm but still comfy ride rather than too harsh and crashy.

I've seen on Demon Tweeks website a full set of Bilstein B4's for £204 delivered. Which seems like a cracking price :happy2: Just before I go and order them I'd like to know if the part numbers are correct for an Edition 30 and if the B4's are a good choice?

The part numbers are -

Bilstein B4 Front Gas Shock Absorber
BLS22-140012

Bilstein B4 Rear Gas Shock Absorber
BLS19-140025

Cheers  :happy2:

Bilstein B4's are the Budget brand would not be as good as standard vag ones mate,
You will find the ones you take out are stiffer.

Joesoap:
Euro do the front Bilstein B4 shocks for you car £86.38 Pn 635442055 for the two fronts not what I would buy but
I've used their KYB Shocks much better budget/very good shock part number 635442542 £139 for the two but  :happy2:
Rears try for KYB also Think the Sachs and cheaper Bilstein's are made in the same place found them to be two soft.

Stu-ED30:
Cheers for the reply lads. I thought it seem to good to be true

Not sure what one's to go for now, I've heard good things about the H&R cup kit but its a bit out of my price range.

What I would say is spend a wee bit more now, I have fitted Cheaper B4's Scahs type shocks in the past and ended up selling the car because
I hated the feel of it and pissed at myself for not spending a few pound more and the time I spent fitting softer after market shocks than the oe ones I took out  :stupid:

Spring wise H&R or Eibach can't go wrong ....Shocks I think trade Volkswagen are not to bad for them, or
use the KYB, I fit these to alot of Scoobys and jap stuff and would be stiffer than Standard stuff  :happy2:
