Hiya everyone
A friend very kindly offered me the use of his bodyshop during the Christmas period. This desperately needed after I had a little miss hap with a new clay bar which left the paint work on my R26R looking very sorry for itself as you can see below
I took taping the car to the extreme as I didn't want to mess around and used as much from the bodyshop as I could.
A few more before pictures under light
these are some pictures from polishing stages, I used a two stage polishing approach and was really happy with the outcome
here are some pics of the car in the bodyshop during the process
this was the first time outside before I re-washed the car to remove the dust
These are the final outside pictures

haha I know, just decided to lacquer over the primer was easier than painting
yeah they do shock a lot of cars to be honest, especially around a track

I honestly don't know where I went wrong with the clay bar, ive clayed a lot of cars and used the same pre wash routine as I always do. This was a clay ive never used and it was a brand new clay so I don't know
