Sounds remapped!!!??? Ok then..

--- End quote ---

can hear back pressure noise more when its mapped..  hard to explain but its quite easy to tell by the sound if the cupra has been mapped... dont you agree?

--- End quote ---

Cant say I noticed any change in exhaust or intake noise on the GTI / ED30 or the S3 when they were mapped with standard hardware but maybes the K1 is a different story..

k1 is silent without a map at WOT from inside the car. Once mapped its a completely different story. Hated how mine was so quite when it was standard, but like it how its mapped. Wonder how the BF system will change the sound.

ITG Pics and outside vids to come as soon as im back from the gym  :happy2:

ok heres a update.

Yesterday got the car back from the bodyshop with a freshly painted front bumper. The old one was stone chipped pretty badly. Had to get the bodyshop to do it twice though as the first effort was terrible. Now its good as new.  :happy2:

Then when I got home I had this waiting for me! ITG CAI  :pomppomp:

And heres a pic of all the bits on my kitchen floor

Anyway went about fitting it in the dark, ended up snapping a jubilee clip so had to quickly run to b n q to get a new one.

Here it is all fitted.

And one in the day light

The quality of the kit is amazing.

Anyway onto the important bit! How it sounds!

It really is rather noisy, turns heads and all that, but people seem to like it. Had a man asking me about the car as he was curious as it sounded like a "beast".

Car is alot more responsive and holds the power further up the revs now. However I think my standard DV needs replacing now as it seems to be struggling to keep up. Also seem to have a slight slat spot at about 5.2k revs but the ecu still needs to adapt so hopefully that will go away.

And here are the vids.

For comparisons sake firstly a vid with the engine cover.

Then a vid with the ITG intake.

And another video with the ITG but bonnet down.

Might get some drive by vids later tonight
