My Mk5 GT FSI
« on: February 04, 2014, 11:09:41 pm »
I got this back in September and I'm very pleased with it.

Bit of an upgrade from my old 206 GTi which I do sadly miss :(

It wasn't long before I got onto awesomegti and purchased myself a gti rear valance, which soon as it arrived in the post, I rushed it off to my mates bodyshop.

Before:

During:

I tried fitting this by removing just the old valance and going on with the new... Found it very fiddly and gave up! :sad1:  Would recommend to anyone doing this to just remove the whole bumper (very easy procedure)

After  :

Also de badged the tailgate and removed the worm infested VW badge and created my own :)

I have purchased a GT 170 rear box from @vw55raz on here but haven't got round to putting it on yet... MUST..PULL..FINGER..OUT

looking to get some coilies in the near future and some new wheels (thinking maybe rs6)
