I just put Eibach Sportlines on mine and its a nice drop.  So much tighter around corners too.  Not firm at all only criticism would be that it feels slightly bouncier than it used to.  But that's what you get with the standard dampers and the kind of drop the sportlines give.  I can live with it though as am only keeping the car another year and as I say the car feels much tighter and imo the drop is spot on! 
I've no experience with H&Rs though. GL with whatever you do!
