I want to use these in daylight if they're bright enough as I haven't got DRL capabilities.

i reaally like those wheels on that colour car mate-nice choice!
and as said before-i think colour coding makes an amazing difference to the look og a gti,even on abmp but i think esp on the lighter colours.
looking forward to seeing the lowered version!
