If the car is setup properly then there shouldn't be a need to fiddle with it  :innocent: tbh, it doesn't sound sensible making it easy for any Thomas, Richard or Harold to p1ss about with the tuning of their car  :scared:

I recon Niki could make one of those maps an anti-theft one quite easily. APR's box was the one I had in mind as you can't recoup any of the outlay by selling it on  :surprised:

Agree that the apr wireless dongle is a great idea. The user isn't changing settings but changing pre set maps and modes. The fact that it's only useable by the original buyer is a bit ridiculous!

I wasn't very clear in my post,  the APR isn't great as you can't sell it on (although it's features will be useful for some people).

The Revo SPS surely could be dangerous in the wrong hands if someone decides to throw all the settings to 9 on a stock car in a bid to make it the fastest:surprised: although gives experts a bit of flexibility in tweaking the map for new mods.

It's impressive that Niki has managed to make map switching work well without the need for a gimmicky switching device IMHO  :happy2:

I see no difference. Ive got 3 per-defined settings on my REVO SPS for low medium and "balls-out" boost. I dont get how that is a gimmick. If you have your car mapped with REVO and get the SPS unit... if you then add a intercooler then you can up the timing/boost without having to piss around getting it remapped again.

If only your car would run right with its Revo Richard  :innocent:

What date have you agreed with Niki??  I know your in conversations with him at the minute.

At least you could get something back in your pocket when u come to sell your SPS switch.  :happy2:

It runs fine... and does 5seconds to 60. I am still waiting for a equivalent result....    :innocent:

Is that a challenge?

So why are you Pm'ing Niki on messenger about cooling and intercooler queries then?? :popcornsoda:

Isn't there a help page on Revo that gives you such good after sales or is that not part of the £500 + buying experiance that Revo offers  :signLOL:

I chat to niki because he knows his sh*t, and I would never say any different. Ive 100% respect for him and what he does. Tuning cars and hardware differences is interesting to me. I have in the past (at least 2/3 occasions) spoken to revo directly and had good customer service.... which is what Id expect from a 500quid map.

And yes it was a challenge.

Ah course, fair enough. Forgot about the cruise control swapping.
