Black honey combed grill?

Just bumping this up to see how the various products held up? How long did the finishes last before needing redone?
My grill is badly faded and I'd prefer to buy a new grill than have to reapply something every couple of months.

not sure how it stands up to stone chips like

I gave my old one a spray with satin black spray paint, only take a couple of seconds to take off and a few hours to dry, by far the best results i can imagine, did the fog light surrounds as well to the same results

Was it not a pain in the ass to prep? Or did you just clean then spray? No sanding?
