Thanks mate look forward to seeing your ride next time
Dave

Ye will definitely have mine next time mate, hopefully more attendees too. :happy2:
--- End quote ---
Yep more the merrier :drinking:
What's yours in the body shop for at the moment? Forgot to ask today
--- End quote ---
Went to VW about my rust warranty on the wings but they tried saying the wings have been repainted so they wont cover it. So thought might aswell get the full front end resprayed & mirror caps as I've got to pay the bill.
--- End quote ---
Seems like some dealers will try anything to get out of it :fighting:
Did you try a few different dealers? They all give different opinions on rusty wings :stupid:
--- End quote ---
Tried 2 different dealers, 1 said the above ^ and the other said they would cover 10% which at there prices I was better off going elsewhere.
--- End quote ---
Yeah they do like to charge a hell of a lot :fighting:
Got rear ended by a kid last year in my golf and the bill for a new votex rear valance painted and fitted was like £900
At least this way you'll have a mint front end instead of just the wings that should last you well
--- End quote ---
Ye tell me about it I didn't fancy having pants pulled down by them either. Looking forward to my fresh front end & got to change the discs & pads and service it on the weekend fun fun fun.
--- End quote ---
Yeah that's boring stuff alright but gotta be done and it'll no doubt drive and feel a bit better after some tlc
--- End quote ---
Ye the good old boring stuff, but I'm mainly looking forward to picking it up tomorrow and going for a drive. :driver:

--- End quote ---
You don't hang about :congrats:
Can either store the mp3 in folders or random on the card
Also it'll manage multiple albums under the same artist in a tree without any problems :happy2:
--- End quote ---
That's a touch , can't wait to get it all sorted and in the car
After today's meet I want a bigger brake kit :innocent:
--- End quote ---
Depending on your budget keep an eye out for the same Porsche kit Marvin has on his car, standard discs, saves some weight and increased braking performance, hard to beat for the money
Or go mental and get some big stoppers
--- End quote ---
Would you favour the porsche over s3 set up? Or have you not had both kits
--- End quote ---
Not personally had the Porsche set up but it's a pretty decent weight saving per corner over the very heavy S3 setup, better pedal feel, OEM disc and and decent up rated pad and it's supposed to be very good
Half way house again would be some ttrs calipers but the standard discs are heavy unless you got similar to mine and DanGBs floating discs but price starts going up very quickly the lighter the setup
Maybe blag a spin in Marvin's at the next meet to see if you like the pedal feel and think they are worth the upgrade, only heard great things from Marvin about them, was like a Cheshire Cat driving home along side him from Alex's after they were fitted :signLOL:

When the s3 where delivered I though f*ck me they weigh a ton :ashamed: I don't want to spend more than £5-600 in all honestly I know I'll probally get half of that for my s3 set up so I'm quite happy with the porsche cost compared to £1.2K + for your 13foot discs and Aston calipers
I'll see what marvin says lol I'll do a switch with him for a spin in mine for a spin in his haha!

Haha yeah I thought the same when I felt a set of S3s
Don't think Marvin will need much convincing to have a little spin in yours for a go of his brakes :driver:
Only problem you'd have is finding a set that somebody is selling, they don't come up very often, or maybe contact Alex or daveB to see if they can help you out :happy2:
