Judging by YouTube videos, BCS would be my choice.

Just had a milltek cat back non resonated fitted on Friday & I'm loving it so far but haven't 'lived' with it long enough to be able to give a decent review.

On all three my golf GTI's in the past 4 years.
I have used, Remus car back, Miltek, APR RSC and currently BCS power. Valve catless.

Overall fit and quality hands down to the BCS.
Miltek broke at joints as well as burnt out the glass fibre in the mufflers.
APR was loud outside but never even remotely intrusive in the cabin.
The remus rusted out.

This time I tried the BCS system. I can't be more happy if I tried. Been on my car for around 3 months.
Also did a 1900km round trip last weekend. Sounded great when required.

If the APR system was not so expensive I might get one again. But quality, sound, fitment and price.
BCS all the way!!!!

Hi Nice, any reason why just the dp is wrapped and not the whole length of the exhaust? Thanks

Hi there
Wrapping the pipe is designed to have two important effects
1) To reduce under bonnet temperatures in order to maintain a dense charge into the engine ( and in addition reduce heat soak into surrounding intercooler piping)
2) The more heat energy in your exhaust, the better spooling of the turbo as the hotter the exhaust gasses, the lower their density, and the higher the pressure drop.

Pressure behind the turbo outlet is a big red light for tuners - the lower the pressure here the more boost you can run - so go big Dp and wrap that sucker... :happy2:

Cheers
Nige

My downpipes wrapped  :P haven't had any issues but some friends of mine downpipes/manifolds have cracked due to the heat being stored by the wrap...they could have been given duff info from the garages they went to but it's odd that 2 friends on 2 occasions have had the same full systems, same diameter and material yet the wrapped mani has cracked every time. the cars where 106 GTi's ( we've all had them ) and the exhausts where bought from the same place as it was a group buy. Could be the quality of the exhaust but it's strange that on both occasions the wrapped manis cracked. Luckily my Quiksilver rallye head conversion never cracked  :P I Check my downpipe every time I jack her up for piece of mind but as said above, I've had no issues with mine.
