Rear windscreen heater problem!!!

Hi all has anyone ever had a problem with there rear windscreen taking ages to defrost/clear without using the wiper.
It usually takes a couple of mins to clear but it's taking ages now :confused:
is there anything i can change or check?

Not sure to be honest but will go and check now!!!
