Thanks, it feels like its taking forever, but lm happy with how its progressing.

OK, so I'm making a list of the parts I will need for the k04 conversion:

The custom wiring harness consists of following part numbers:
00 979 134 A: Wire (x2)
000 979 133 A: Wire (x2)
1J0 973 722 A: Connection housing to DV
1J0 973 822 A: Connection housing to harness

Besides the picture and harness I have read that I need two gaskets:
06F 145 757 H: Oil return line gasket
058 145 757 A: Oil return line gasket (to block)

This adds up to following shopping list:

000 979 133 A: Wire (x2)
000 979 134 A: Wire (x2)

058 145 757 A: Oil return line gasket (to block)

06D 998 907: Injector install kit (x4)
06F 129 627 H: Intake pipe
06F 129 717 D: Intake manifold gasket
06F 145 383 L: Bracket
06F 145 536 C: Turbo bracket
06H 145 710 G: Diverter Valve
06F 145 751: Intermediate flange
06F 145 757 L: Gasket
06F 145 757 H: Oil return line gasket
06F 253 039 F: Gasket

1J0 973 722 A: Connection housing to DV
1J0 973 822 A: Connection housing to harness

1K0 145 693 B: Air circulation pipe
1K0 145 762 BM: Pressure pipe
1K0 145 770 P: Air pipe (throttle body)
1K0 145 845 A: Pressure hose
1K0 253 115 K: Gasket

N 013 851 4: Sealing washer (x4)
N 044 520 3: Stud (x4)
N 102 861 08: Shouldered hex. nut, self-locking (x4)
N 907 816 01: Spring clip (x2)
N 908 945 01: Hex. nut, self-locking (x5)
N 909 265 01: Clamp (x2)
N 910 848 01: Hexagon socket head bolt (x4)

Paradox1:
The Alloy turbo to intercooler pipe, throttle body pipe and intake to dv pipe. I've picked up the aftermarket versions. i'll try find some links for you. aftermarket parts are supposed to be more free flowing apparently

AJP:
Watching this with interest. I'm still 50/50 on a k03 hybrid or k04.

guess it depends what power, you want. hybrid is probably easier as you just swap turbo, and use same injectors.
