EIG - Mk5 Tornado Red Edition 30

Haz911:
So after swapping and changing my daily cars every couple of months I purchased a Black Mk5 R32 but after a few months I just couldn't warrant the fuel cost for my daily drive to work so got a Bmw E90 but it just wasn't for me and wanted to get back into a Mk5 again.

So about 3 weeks ago I took the long 4.5 hour trip up North to go look at a car, money transferred and I was away.

2007 Tornado Red Edition 30 - Your may recognize it as it was up for sale on here and Mk5GolfGti.

Spec as of the day I picked it up:

Build #1505
High Mileage - 102k but has full vw service history up to 92k and specialist at 96k.
DSG
FK Coilovers
20mm rear spacers
Gloss Black Wheels with Red BBS Centres
RCD 310

After I got the car home, I dropped it a few mm all the way round slightly and gave it a good clean.

Also purchased a Carbon Weaved Front Badge:

Now running this Private Plate too :)

Ace Cafe Almost Famous Meet on Sunday night:

Had a Stage 1 Remap last weekend also so should be running approx 290-300bhp.

I've got a few subtle plans for the car over the next month or so ;)

Cheers
Harry

Harry have you got the part numbers for the centre caps? Nice touch that.

How do you find the ride on the FK's?

Thanks  To be honest I was a bit wary about them and wasn't sure when going to view the car but after test driving the car and the 4.5 hour drive home my opinion changed completely, the ride is firm but not over the top/spine breaking and eliminates a lot of body roll.
My only problem with them now is that the fronts are almost maxed out but quite a few threads left on the rear.....but I'm debating swapping these out for something different  :happy2:
