How are you finding the real life mpg figure difference. Reason i ask is 16k a year in the ED30 now, im av 30-32mpg, if i went down the vrs route i would hope for 45-48mpg to make it worth while.

I get that going round town in a 170 scirocco, high 50's to low 60's on a run

My daily commute is 20 miles each way with a mixture of all sorts of roads. Best mpg I've had so far is 51. Average 40-50 mpg most days over the whole trip.

My Edition 30 gave me 300 miles to a tank over the same journey whilst the vRS is returning about 450-470 ish. Obviously if you do longer motorway or B road jaunts you'll get even more.

I got just over 500 miles from the tank driving home from Derby to Glasgow when I bought it a few weeks ago.
