So is it usual that the figure the manufacturer quotes is hugely different from that that the tyre manufacturer quotes? A difference of 1 bar is quite a lot...

.........well got the official reply which states they recomend this pressure for a '' fully loaded car'' & that the pressure is set high as many people don't check the pressure regular.Looks like i will adjust mine a bit lighter tomorrow.

Offical pressure off there web site are in my first post mate. :happy2:.I'm going to drop them in mine a bit even tho i didn't put in what they recomend.Think i will stick with official VW pressure for 18''.
