I know what you mean mate. It starts off with a small pop-up tent and a sleeping bag, and by the time you set off you end up taking another, Brand-New bigger tent, because it alot better than your old one, and it was in the sale and because you really really did need another tent and new sleeping bags and airbeds and table and chairs and ...............Yep definitely NO camping at all :rolleye:
On another note, I Really do hope as the time goes by and the trip gets closer, that we all come to the same conclusion and that we all drive together in convoy! It will be so much better to go as a group. I really felt quite deflated, when I started to imagine everyone making there own way there.
Hopefully, and I do know its a long way off, but hopefully we can go as a group! :driver: :driver: :driver: :driver:
I would prefer a stay in Dover with all you lot the night before, and then get the early ferry to Calais, but if you lot want to meet early morning at dover ferry port, thats fine too.
I (having recently split with the misses) will probably be on my tod, so I would not be looking forward to driving all the way to chur on my own :sad1:
Still its a long way off and lots of things could change before the trip. Im just glad I can say 100% that I will be going on this trip :jumpmove:

....Don't worry, mate - Even if it starts off with mini convoys we'll all come together by the time we reach Chur.
You mention staying in Dover overnight before the morning push to Chur - I'm doing that too and I won't be the only one.
