Beyond Stage 1 Help

Hi

Apologies for the newbie query but I'm after clarification on next steps after Revo stage 1 on an '08 GTi. Aside from a brake upgrade, I've read about other 'should do tweaks' such as a pre-cat removal but would moving to stage 2 (with a BCS powervalve system) do this too or is it something to do when fitting the new system?

Other mods such as roll bars, suspension are also in the pipeline, along with a R32 style rear end, but just wanted to understand the requirement on exhausts.

If I've missed any other upgrades, feel free to further reduce my dwindling bank balance. Thanks

Stage 2 is decat and intake.

There is no requirement for other performance parts such as brake kits or roll bars but it's a good idea to try and make sure your brakes and handling match the power.

Stage 2 is a Cold Air Intake and a sports cat or decat.

At stage 2 I had a BCS Powervalve TBE with 200 Cell Cat and a REVO CAI. After having the zorst fitted you may get the exhaust emission warning light pop but when you get the stage 2 map done that will be mapped out.

Too slow!..............I usually come second!

Ok thanks. Looks like a 3hr drive 'up norf' then for me to see BCS.
