I'm not quite sure what the difference consists off? Hurdy, do you know?

I believe its the cams are different in the cdl to the byd

I'd heard the same. Aren't pistons, rods etc the same?

as far as i know yes. i previously had a cupra before the vrs and that had bwj engine which is the same minus the cams and a standard intercooler
