New summer Wheels, but which ones?????
« on: November 01, 2009, 03:44:33 pm »

Hi, Since talking to DaveB1970, i plan on getting the r32 front and rear brakes i fitted yesterday changed to RS6 365mm fronts and S3 rear, which makes my 17" winterset redundant, so my 18" Pescaras are becomming the new set for winter and i need new summer wheels.

I have been offered 2 sets of used wheels, one is BBS CH Black with red stripe in 8x19" with Yokohama advan tyres 235/35-19, (i forgot the exact tire but sport tire it was), Sorry for the crappy cellphone photos, and i must say i love the rim as it is so similar to the Pescara in looks. these are an offer that i have to take asap.

The other choice is OZ Superturismo Black 19" with Michelin PS2 tires 235/35-19, this tire i tried on the car, it was so much better, noise and handling, than my old 225/40-18 Bridgestone re50a, even more comfortable than the 18" Bridgestones.
These i can say yes to and wait until spring to pay. And they look much better on the car than expected.

Finally i would like to apoligies for the dirty car and wheels, time was short as i had to try both sets this weekend and do a lot of miles for this to happen.
I'm looking forward to your opinions, Thx in advance  :pomppomp:
