Been a busy week as they'll be a few changes coming soon.
Now have 2 full sets of tyres for the new wheels.
4x Michelin Pilot super sports
4x used Toyo R888's I got for a good price
Whenever I get new wheels I like to get new bolts and got some better quality lockers aswell. Got some 3mm and 5mm spacers in case they need more clearance for the brakes. Got some fresh oil and filter to go in as well.
Bought myself a new toy :jumpmove: always wanted a proper R/C car with decent power.
Had a C63 black series driving experience today at Mercedes Benz world. What a monster that thing is :driver:

Tracking says they're on the van for delivery so hopefully here tomorrow :jumping:. Will test fit and take a few photos tomorrow afternoon, then assuming they fit over the brakes I'll get the tyres on and full pictures in the next few days. Would like to wash the car at some point as its been murdering bugs all weekend.

So the wheels came this morning.
They weighed in at a very nice 9.74kg.
However even with a 5mm spacer they didn't clear the brakes and I'm not prepared to use anything bigger than that on the track. So that's the 3rd set of wheels I've had to return in the last 4 months since I bought these brakes :fighting:.
