Yeah I've made him a cheeky/ assholey offer  :fighting2:

Not in a rush so its there if he has to get rid, otherwise I'm lucky enough to get them cheap anyways.

Nice progress. I'm tempted to do the anti surge wheel upgrade to my K04. Did you take yours apart and send just the cartridge off to BBT? Did you ask about the 410bhp hybrid k04 upgrade they offer?

Cheers mate, no I haven't touched my turbo he just sent me a new core so it will be a straight swap when Alex does all the work.

I spoke to him about a few options but decided this was best for me as I'm staying FWD and no diff (for now) and wanted to keep engine reliability as a priority so no need to number chase really. Also those upgrades will give increased lag and I think on the road from what I've seen the difference between the two wouldn't actually be that much, more pub talk than anything but I could be wrong

So after a quick inspection from Ruby the engine was loaded safely and cleared for its journey

She made it to the promise land, Alex said it looked in half decent condition so hopefully it's the same on the inside  :popcornsoda:

Also talked about a few other bits like PCV delete/ polar FIS/ braided clutch pipe and something else I've forgotten and will hopefully get that done as long as everything else goes smoothly.

Car will be dropped off within the next couple of weeks so its all moving along nicely now and I can't wait  :pomppomp:

Some AKS ingredients via Alex are always good fun

Look forward to seeing the results of this next phase.

If the AMG's were genuine, we'd have been talking about a deal dude   One of my favourite wheel designs - simple, tidy but so presence filled!
