DSG Reset - New owner
jbenekeorr:
You can do a reset by sitting in the car, key in your hand - floor the accelerator all the way and hold it there. Put the key in and turn it so that the lights come on the dash and keep your foot down for at least 30 seconds.
It will then go back to 'default' and learn your driving style.
That's all - done it on mine, a MK6 and a 13 plate A3. I don't know if it's a full reset like one done with VCDS but it totally changed mine. Cured the jerky reverse and first gear.

And this wouldnt affect a dsg map?
I have no jerkyness or anything but sometimes its a bit slow responding e.g if i have my foot off acc slowing for a rb, then i change down a gear to accelerate, theres a slight delay, where as normally its instant

If your changing down i doubt its anything to do with the dsg learning. Having never driven an auto let alone a dsg it was strange at first. Are you driving in manual mode/D or S.
bigtop:
Manual mode
Its only a slight delay, and only get it occasionally
Mite try a reset
