Thanks for all the kind words guys. Cars going great and couldn't be happier with it.

This is identical to my Pirelli apart From mine has an extra 2 doors and a rns510 sat nav

I really love mine but looking to get a remap, are you tempted too? 300hp  :driver:

Remap is tempting, but I'm pretty happy with the power the car has as standard, but maybe a run in a remapped Golf could change my mind. :)

Looking good! Where did you see this one advertised, might I ask?

I'm just down the road at Tates Avenue, would have considered a trade in myself for this!

If you're ever looking to move on from the Pirelli wheels, give me a buzz  :innocent: but it looks like you're happy with them now  :happy2:

Cheers mate, it was advertised on Used Cars NI by Charles Hurst Used Direct on the Boucher Road. So I guess I'm lucky you didn't spot it before I seen it. :) I spotted it for sale Friday at lunch time and shook the sales mans hand at 10.30 am the next morning. Over the moon with the car, but I don't think I'd be rushing back to Hursts in a hurry. Their after sales help has been a joke.

Yeah I can see why you fancy a change mate. My first choices would have been red or white, but I'm more than happy with the Silver now. Plus it seems to hide the dirt really well.

Got my finger out this morning and ordered up some -30mm H&R springs for the car, I had them in my previous GTI and was very happy with them, both comfort wise and height.

Surprised in the differences in prices for these, ranged every where from £168 - 200+. Managed to get a set of eBay for £178 all in including P&P.

I've my MOT on 12th Feb, so not sure if I should weight until after then to fit them or not. No doubt once they arrive I'll not have patience to wait till then.

Springs in.  :happy2: straight forward enough bar the right hand front drop link being a real pain to remove.

Dropped near enough the 30mm as said on the box!  So happy with how it looks now.

Very minimal difference in the 20 odd miles I've done so far if I'm honest.

Yeah, lucky enough we have pretty much everything here including spring clamps.

My I ask what mileage your shocks have covered? I think the drop is spot on but always worry about standard shocks and lowered springs.
I ran a H&R cup kit on my MK4 and it gave a nice ride, so my opt for these instead..
