Dripping noise after a spirited drive.

Evening ladies and gentlemen.  Just filled up the GTI and took her for a good old drive with a friend  Pulled up after a while and noticed a constant deep dripping noise from the fuel tank,  with the engine turned off. Any ideas what it could be?

Just unused fuel returning to the tank i would imagine  :happy2:

I thought it was that but It carried in for the thirty minutes wwe were pulled up .

As above, should be just the fuel return.

Mine does that too, even if I haven't been pushing it particulary hard!
Hasn't blown up yet!!  :driver:
