Rear silencer (Muffler) delete

Currently looking at cat back systems but have also been looking at removing the rear silencer and replacing with a straight through pipe. Have seen that quite a few in USA have done this. Anyone on here tried it ?

It's called a suitcase delete mate - I think a few people on here have had it done.
