Edition 30 turbo/lack of power problems
Scottymon:
The Diverter Valve (DV) is so far from the Turb on K04 it's much less of an issue, but definitely check, it's seriously easy.

However, it might be your Throttle Body (TB) dieing... not a hard job either.

This did not take me 5 mins on a K03.

Hehe, no, Super Gran is required for the K03 location.

Cheers for the replies guys, I have ordered a Revision G diverter valve and will fit this anyway and see what its like, as this is my first turbo car (always owning diesel audi's im failry new to the petrol turbo area, hence the reason i joined here to find out as much as i can. I will fit the new valve tomorrow and see what happens. I'm hoping its just that as i've only had the car a week, i think the cam chain and tensioner might need doing to once warmed up car sounds like a diesel, i am looking for a decent garage in the Brighton area if anyone knows any.
any more tips would be helpful guys.
many thanks

A VCDS cable would be a good investment. You could log the boost. I was only getting 9psi of boost when my DV was bad.
