I have seen a ITG Maxogen intake for sale locally for £150 + my original intake on my K03.

Being my first modification to the engine - is this a good one to go for and is it a good price?

Yes the ITG is a good one, the price is fair as well.

Price is reduced to £120 now - think I'm going to bite.

Do I have to declare this to insurers as a performance-related modification? My insurer is not welcoming to performance-related mods...  :confused:

Yes you have to declare it as it will improve performance (any mod should be declared).

Try Greenlight - they are cheaper for me with a modified car than all the others were with a standard car  :laugh:
