Part number required please

(1/1)

GTIEagles:
I recently changed the gearshifter bush on my car and unfortunately had to refit it due to the springs being coiled the wrong way round. Anyway the second time round I think I was a bit heavy handed and managed to bend the part on the pic below  :sad1:. Does anyone have the part number for this please?

I have found a much clear picture of it here:

Answered my own question  It's 1J0711611A

I looks like it could be a right pain in the bottom to change so I might just try and bend the bracket back.

I would look at this item 47

http://www.partscats.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1714&set=1728&ein=2007&f=474&hauptgr=1234567890&hg=7&grf=071130409&bf=71130&hgug=711&ug=11&parent_id=2347910&detail_id=2348026

Now it's chassis number dependant but that part is typically £25.34 and is now part number 5K0 711 203 B

Thanks mate, I ended up using mole grips to bend it back in place, all seems well plus I won't have to rip out the shifter unit to replace the part!
