Help/Advice re cable to arm rest.

I've got an aftermarket HU that has a USB input I can plug my phone into, I wired it through to the glovebox which is a bit of a PITA to connect it.

I'm planning on rerunning it to the arm rest or the cup holder infornt of it with the slidey cover thing.

Has anyone done this or can offer some advice on it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've just put it through to the ash tray, don't trust myself taking that much to pieces.
In the process The little spring bits for the esp and tyre have dropped out so had to order new buttons aswell.

I'm useless me. Apart from that tho it's a success.

its actually a very quick process, took me longer to take all the pics.

standard.... they are a c*ap design
