Anyone ever had a rattle just after cambelt.waterpump change. Car felt great then after say 15 miles turned off . Got back in car started with a really noisy diesel like noise / rattle . Turned off immediately then back on and was fine . Any ideas or anyone experience anything similar .

I used to get some sort of clanging/tapping noise. Used to go at the slightest touch of the accelerator though, same with yours?

Tbh mate no just happening randomly .very strange vagcom says over advanced timing reterd stepping fault

Get it back to the garage you had it done at.
Even just for peace of mind.

It's going back in . Problem is noise never happens when you want garage to hear it
