I remember, you got the 4 door one? It was a good event, even the missus didn't complain to much..

That's the one. RE keeping it clean, there's nothing worse than putting in all that hard work and it then being dirty again within hours! Black looks great when clean but I can only imagine how painful it must be to live with
gixerben:
It's currently a world of pain, not only my Pirelli, my company car the dust is even all over the house..inside and out.
I washed it again yesterday, and then the sun came out and it was drying as soon as the water hit it, streaky, streaky..

My car is just as bad 90% of the time. Where I work they dig out the cliff at the back of the industrial estate so it blows over everyday and then when in rains it makes it 10 times worse. I've been there 4 years now and used to clean it every weekend but it's lucky to have a decent clean once a month cos as soon as I clean it on the weekend it's ruined Monday morning.
gixerben:
it is becoming a issue, all the cars on the street my end are covered, and the contractor doing the work is going to compensate people effected with vouchers for the local car "hand wash" centre... :scared:
They will probably do more damage than the work men.

An area that I thought needed to be addressed from an early stage of ownership was the lack of braking power, the brakes were always in great condition but I felt that they lack bite and power so I sourced a full front setup from an Audi TTS, had a little play with some Pirelli decals and on they went..
And what an improvement they are, and I have an nice black set of S3 rears sitting in my office waiting to be popped on the rear to complete the setup..
Love the calipers, just had my R32 brakes back from BiggRed, hope to get them fitted on the weekend.
My calipers are yellow with a black dust shield with the yellow Pirelli logo the same as yours, albeit a bit smaller.
Hoping the yellow will look good and match the other yellow hints throughout the car :happy2:
I'll post some photos once the job has been completed.
