Alarm randomly going off? Can't turn off with my fob either.

Had an 07 plate edition 30 for just under a year now and on a few occasions now the alarm random goes off, I can't turn it off with my fob and it even allows me to drive off with the alarm going off!?!

A friend scanned my car for me and this is what I've got...

3 Faults Found:

01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
            004 - No Signal/Communication
00323 - Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384)
            004 - No Signal/Communication
01134 - Alarm Horn (H12)
            004 - No Signal/Communication

Anyone come across this before? time to start replacing parts?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've had a few alarm related problems over the years on my mk5's.

The main culprit is usually the internal battery of the alarm siren self combusting, so it needs a new siren.
Last time, it was a new battery needed and the alarm was going off due to dropped voltages.

It has also been known for ultrasonic sensors to cause issue.

In 46-CCM, if you look at measuring blocks, it will tell you the last few triggers for the alarm, this will point exactlky at what you need to replace.

I've replaced the battery on the car because it died on me through lack of use.

I checked all the fuses and found fuse 35 missing. Which is alarm related so replaced that but it then went off the next day again randomly.

To check the measuring blocks do I this with another scan do i? I'm pretty new to all this so excuse my knowledge on this!

The ultrasonic sensors have popped up a few times whilst googling the issues but if I can pin point it first that would be great, thanks very much, as you can imagine intermitent problems are pretty frustrating.

Thanks, my siren still works but could this be faulty due to water damage maybe?
