Diesel oil, 1.9 SE TDI

Hi

I plan to service my car soon, and need advise on what oil I should use.

I don't do more than 10k a year, but would still like to service the car on a yearly basis.

What would be the best oil to use? 5w-40?

well, that's what meets the regs for pd engine oil.
any other brand would be fine, that's just what i used in my old 1.9 tdi.
