Rcd 310 and Gateway question!

Hello !
I have a rcd 310 from Tiguan 2010 , i put it in golf 2005 the old gateway don't fit case it drain the battery so i have a  Gateway 1K0907530K serial number .
the question is does it fit to the rcd and will it solv the problem of the draining power????

What version software is on the K?
Some of the K versions are fine, some aren't. You are better with an L or later to be sure.

Top right, four numbers. If you have one with a white sticker, there is an S before the numbers
