I'm not sure if vagcom will tell you as I have not used it myself but if you pull the rubber boot back and have a visual inspection you will know for sure  :happy2:

Yep Tappy is right. Pull the rubber boot and you'll be able to see the wires. I had this issue and my door wouldn't open
